Suvilas Properties & Construction has taken delivery of a Liebherr 85 EC-Bi flat top tower crane for its maiden project, the Suvilas Royal Guardenia residential development in Jalahalli, Bengaluru. With a 45.4 m maximum hook height and a 50 m radius, the five tonne crane will be used for lifting steel rebar and concrete slabs on the two-acre site.

Young achiever

Sandeep Sukhija was all of nine years old when his father Sadanand Sukhija set up S Cranes Engineering. After completing his diploma in mechanical engineering, he formally entered the family business at the age of 20. At that time, the company had a turnover of about Rs 11 lakh per annum, a floor space of 3,000 sq ft and a team of six people.
